Deep sea fishing on Aruba

Just you and the fish
Seated in the massive fighting chair, the high seas and salt spray go unnoticed as all attention is focused on keeping a firm grip on your fishing rod. At the other end of the line, a strong Blue Marlin fights to free itself and return to the deep seas around Aruba which it calls home. Aboard Hatts Off catch-and-release is strictly practiced for all billfish.

Aruba deep-sea fishing
Aruba deep-sea fishing yields many types of fish, including Wahoo, Kingfish, Mahi-Mahi, Barracuda, Albacore, Blue and White Marlin and Sailfish. The best way to get out to the deep waters for Aruba fishing is to charter an experienced crew with a sportsfisherman yacht to take you out.

Aruba has an added benefit because fish like Blue Marlin have been caught right up against the shore. Within 5 minutes from leaving the dock you are already fishing.

The whole year round
Most fishing is done off of the southwest coast, where the water is calmer than on the north and east coast of Aruba. Most fish are caught year around. Peak season for sailfish runs during migration through September, October and November.

Test your skills
With a stable climate and predictable weather conditions Aruba is a great place to get out on the water and test your skills and there are few better ways to appreciate Aruba’s scenery than from the flybridge of Hatts Off.
